Happy Spring from your HOA Board of Directors! Let’s hope we’re finished with snow for the season!
We wanted to take a moment to provide a quick note about some upcoming events, including our Annual Meeting.
The Board will conduct it’s Spring Walk-Through on Saturday, March 18th (weather permitting). Our goal, at least twice a year, is to walk the entire property to check on the fencing, sidewalks, landscaping and similar common areas. If you have a specific concern about common areas we should watch for, please let us know at HOA@BrightonCorp.com or by reaching out to the specific Board members below…..or look for us to stroll down your street on March 18th.
Our annual Easter Egg Hunt is quickly approaching on Saturday, April 8th. Bring the kiddos….but don’t be late. Every year, the kids manage to hunt down hundreds of eggs in the space of just a few minutes. It’s astonishing to watch.
Our Board will host the Annual Meeting in May, and every resident is encouraged to attend. It’s a chance for your Board to report on our financial situation, summarize our accomplishments thus far and most importantly: solicit feedback and answer questions. More to come on the exact date and location.
It’s hard to believe that almost 9 months ago we elected our first Board of Directors, but we will also be holding annual elections to the Board in the run-up to our Annual Meeting. All five of our current Board members are standing for re-election—as a group, we feel like we’ve got important project work we’ve just started, as well as an important road map to implement.
That said, if you are interested in volunteering for the Board and standing for election as well, please let us know by filling out the Board Volunteer form online by Friday, March 17. We will host a Zoom meet-and-greet in mid-April. More on that exact date to come.
If you are interested in volunteering in other ways to support our community, either on a committee, for specific events or providing other expertise, please let us know at the same e-mail address above or by reaching out directly to the Board members below.
