Irrigation Shut Off

The irrigation district will be shutting down water on Friday, October 13th. Be sure to wrap up any landscaping projects and get in you last watering now.

Holiday Decorations

It’s that time of year, where so many people decorate for the holidays. We love to see all festivity, however, we ask that you remember temporary holiday decorations may be installed 45 days prior to the holiday and should be removed within 30 days after the holiday, vendor scheduling and weather permitting.

Fall Maintenance

It’s time to start trimming shrubs and trees that are growing into or over sidewalks and streets. Sidewalks should be clear for passage up to 8ft in height, and streets up to 14ft in height. It’s also time to start watching for leaves to drop. Please try to clean these up regularly, so they are not left to blow all into your neighbor’s yards.Neighbors have noticed bores and other pests in trees by the sidewalks. These trees in front of your home are the homeowner’s responsibility. You may want to check on your street tree to make sure it doesn’t need any additional treatment to stay healthy.

Check your exterior lights. As it starts to get dark earlier in the evenings, everyone having their lights on and in good working order makes a difference for both safety and security in the community. Report streetlight outages to the City of Meridian.

Get prepared for the cold. Make sure to turn off and disconnect outside hoses. Blow out your sprinklers. Get items stored and winterized, and get supplies you may need now, such as a snow shovel. It’s always good to be prepared.

Fall Festival

Join your neighbors and friends out in the common area next to the first pool at 5743 N. Asissi Way, on Saturday, October 7th, 4:30-6:30pm for our annual Fall festival. Besides the chili cook-off, there will be face painting, a bounce house, and a food truck to purchase from. It’s shaping up to be the largest festival yet. We hope to see you all there!

Thanksgiving Meal Box

Can you believe that Thanksgiving is rapidly approaching? We are continuing the tradition of providing for those in need around us. This is one of the most wonderful events we do, and it really shows how amazing our community is!

Our neighborhood is always a top priority. Per usual, if you are a family in the neighborhood needing a Thanksgiving box, please reach out to Shawna Green at 208-800-8367. Information will be private and will not be shared.

This year, our goal is to help 55 families in need celebrate Thanksgiving with our donations. It’s not only our neighborhood but 3 local schools that we serve.

A sign-up genius has been created to help keep track of the needed items.

If you are interested in donating, click the link below. It will tell you precisely what is needed; sign up for that “spot.” After you purchase the item, please drop it off to Shawna Green at 4036 W Wolf Rapids St.

The deadline is November 15th.

Turkey Donations must be donated between Nov 14-15th because of freezer space.
