Don’t forget to come out to Pool #1, 5413 Assisi, Saturday, September 27th, from 9am – Noon to purchase pumpkins from the local Helms Family Farm. Idaho Mini Donuts will be joining the festivities offering freshly-made sweet treats.
Irrigation End Date
Settlers Irrigation District will shut off water distribution on October 10th. Don’t forget to schedule your sprinkler blowouts.
Fall Lawn Care Tips
Fighting weeds is a year-round battle, so don’t forget fall weed control. It’ll give you a jump on a healthier lawn in the spring. While weeds are working hard on their top growth in the summer, in fall they’re storing energy in their root system, which means they’re more susceptible to herbicide applications.
Zap them now, and it will be harder for them to send their roots deeper into the ground. Applying weed killer in the fall will get rid of many perennial broadleaf weeds like dandelions, clover, thistle, etc.
Daylight Hours
Fall is here and it’s getting dark earlier. Please ensure your home’s exterior lights are on from dusk till dawn. Illuminated surroundings enhance community safety and deter opportunistic crime.
Holiday Lights
The holiday season is around the corner. We are already seeing companies advertise their lighting services, attracting homeowners with early installation discounts and extra savings for those willing to display promotional yard signs. A reminder, both services being offered to homeowners violate the community guidelines below:
- Holiday decorations may be installed 45 days prior to the holiday and must be removed within 30 days after the holiday, vendor scheduling and weather permitting.
- No advertising yard signs are permitted.
Vehicle Hazards
Vehicle parking continues to be a concern to BainBridge residents. Multiple cars, particularly when parked on both sides of the street, create narrow passages for passing vehicles. Vehicles parked near corners create blind spots. If you observe a vehicles(s) causing a pedestrian or vehicle hazard please contact Meridian Code Enforcement at 208.846.7326, or file an online complaint via the link below.
ACC Reminder
To maintain community aesthetics and harmonious design, an Architectural Control Committee (ACC) request must be submitted for any exterior modifications or improvements. You can submit an ACC Request online. The link is provided below:
